Sad news but he’s had a fair innings. Never really got into Spider-Man but I had the toy of him and it was always my favourite.

He might be a little before your time, but as a kid, Spidey was my hero. Especially the Spidey we read in a series of Pocket Books which reprinted those early Stan Lee and Steve Ditko adventures. Steve Ditko’s Doctor Strange art was just unreal.
Hard to believe the stuff he created just came from his imagination and wasn’t from being under the influence!

How sad, to have created all he did (which I too enjoyed as a kid), and to die alone, no one to notice for days. RIP.
